You have been a star I have known all my life on this earth.
Remember the time you danced on the stage at McArthur Park? The way you held on to your pants reminded some people of Cantinflas. You took Home a loaf of bread that day. Your voice, your wit, your fearlessness forever stamped in my memory. 

You are now a star in the night sky
Living life on the other side
With many loved ones by your side

With the light from your veins
You guided five children and their loves with Landa on your side
Helped everyone you could help with your hands, heart, and head 
Your soft thunderous laughter a comfort to all needing a reminder that laughter and humor heals

Thank you for coming to my home, for bringing Tia Nieves to see mom, for sharing BBQ at Joe Cottons in Robstown
Thank you for your kindness and bear hugs at family gatherings 

This side feels a bit empty without you but your light shines bright.

My memories are simple...you were always there...as far as I can remember. From my childhood growing up I have so many different stories I tell and many you are  a part of.  A favorite memory of mine is of my family going over your house  for a barbecue and playing cards. You were always willing to play Blackjack with me and take me for all my change as I went all in...and I loved every minute of it! You will be greatly missed by all who knew you. Our prayers go out to your family with our love.

My Dear Cousin Mario,
I was once feeling down under a dark cloud. I'll never forget the day you came up to me when you were just a little child you held my hand and all of a sudden like the morning sunshine you smiled at me.  I instantly felt a welcoming magical warmth that cheered and brightened up my day. I will always remember you that way.
