Marquese Marvel Woody was born on January 11, 1991 in San Bernardino California to Sidney

Atkins and Promevitus Joseph Woody Jr. who both preceded him in death.

The memory of his life remains in the hearts of his family who he loved dearly. Remaining to

cherish their memories of him are grandparents Martha Watson, Willie Watson, Shirley Woody

and Promevitus Joseph Woody Sr. He leaves behind brother Terence, wife Jessica Woody and

nephew Sebastian Woody. Also to remain includes aunts and uncles Trina Watson, Erica

Watson, Anthony Watson, Minasha Watson, Latanga Woody Faniel, Atiai Woody, Kolton

Woody and Zeus Woody. Marquese leaves behind a large host of great aunts, uncles, and

cousins as well as friends.

Marquese graduated from Carter High school and thereafter attended San Bernardino Valley

College where he took classes in Logistics. He also received his certificate to be a Certified

Custodial Technician and obtained his Security Guard card. Marquese spent most of his time

with his family and friends especially his cousins where they most commonly called him

“Woody”. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Family always knew that they could

count on him to use his strength and patience to get the job done. Marquese loved animals and

his goal was to work for the animal shelter. When someone was hungry or needed clothing he

was always willing to provide. He loved music, watching movies, swimming and a good meal.

Marquese will be remembered for his hardworking hands, strength, smile, silly laugh and

jokes.

Marquese’s life seemed so short and he will be missed but we look forward to seeing him again,

promised at Acts 24:15 and Revelation 21:3,4.
