Naseem Samuel was born in a small village in Chack 134, Pakistan, on February 2, 1938 to Mr. and Mrs. Khair Din. She had four sisters and five brothers. In 1956 she married P.R. Samuel and moved to Gujranwala, where P.R Samuel started his theological studies. Upon completing his studies, he became a pastor. Naseem worked side by side with him, supporting, and contributing to the wellbeing of the women’s ministry throughout her life.
Most of her mission work was towards building the church in the heart of people, even to the extent of working as a laborer, building the house of God called St. John’s Church in Liaquatabad, Lahore Pakistan. In recognition of her dedicated services, the church has named the community hall to honor her name.
Naseem and P.R Samuel were blessed with five children, who have families of their own. In 1994, they moved to Grand Terrace, California to be with his eldest son. Naseem’s life is remembered and celebrated by two brothers, a sister, three sons, two daughters, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and countless others who called her, Auntie, Sister, Buhaw, Ammi, Dado, Nano, and Bardi Mama.
