January 06, 1951 – October 17, 2019
Olivia is survived by her husband Lorenzo and 5 children. Jorge, Rudy, Pepe, Lilo, & Endy. She also had a daughter, Rosy; who recently passed last year. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Olivia came to the U.S. in search of a better life for her family. She worked in various factories and the majority of her 20year employment was at Coast Foundry in Pomona, Ca. A city where she and Lorenzo raised their six kids, and later moved and retired in Fontana, Ca.
She had two passions in life. One was knitting, she was great at it. She was able to just look at a pattern and duplicate it. Her most passionate hobby was purse shopping. She didn’t care about the brand, she just loved buying purses. If you let her she would buy a purse a week. She limited herself to a purse a every other month.
She enjoyed the times she spent with her husband taking their 2 dogs, Canelo and Moso, for their daily walk. No one enjoyed cleaning her home more than she did, music would blare through the house when she cleaned. Even though she really did not enjoy cooking, her recipes were authentic literally. She never made the same meal twice, she was a type of cook that would add a pinch of this, some of that, a little more of this, and if it didn’t taste good add a bit more of that. Her favorite past-times were swap meets and yard sales, always out for a bargain.
Olivia lived a good life alongside her family and will truly be missed by all who knew her. We miss you always, Dear wife, Great Mother, Wonderful Grandmother, and Good Friend.
