My baby Percilla I miss you every day I know that you would be here with me calling me talking to me telling me everything that you’ve been accomplishing I’m so proud of you you are such a very respectful and humble young lady and a firm believer in God you made me so proud of you you showed me how strong you were and I do believe that you are with me and Destiny and all your family watching over us I do believe that God took you to heaven because you fulfilled your purpose on earth I love you forever my mommy Percilla

Percilla I was thinking of you the other day I was remembering when your mom bought that blue civic and how happy you would be with your mom driving right next to her in the front seat all I could see was your big smile

My beautiful daughter and best friend i think of you all the time i miss you calling me mom and sharing your life experiences with me how you triumped over so many hurdles i remember when you nursed the sheep back to life i see your pictures and say omg your so pretty you were so creative and intelligent i know your so happy now and walking and smiling and your at peace dont worry about mommy  ok i always pray and i know your with me and i know your going to be there at the pearly gates to meet me i can hardly wait to hold you in my arms i miss your warm hugs and i know your being a obedient child of god in heaven as you were here on earth i love you more than any one word can describe see you soon my mommy love your mom

  "This is going to be the hardest speech I'll ever have to make in life. Children are supposed to bury their parents and not bury their children. I want to thank our Almighty God, my best friend & mom Maggy, and Percilla's mom Julie and her step dad Albert, who participated in raising her to become the most gorgeous, fun, loving, amazing, intelligent, responsible, caring, and forgiving young woman that she is. My princess, my angel, Percilla Dominique Linares, there are no words strong enough or deep enough to describe dad's true feelings on how you made me feel the very first day I laid eyes on you and held you for the first time. Percilla, you used to always get mad at dad when I would walk into your classroom hugging you and kissing you and calling you my baby, because your classroom will all start laughing and you would get mad because you thought they were laughing at you, but Dad would tell you, "they're not laughing at you baby, they wish THEIR dad would come and do the same for them."  Remember dad always used to tell you "never be ashamed of dad or the special loving ways that Dad shows or expresses his love for you in front of the world." Dad told you to always tell the people you love  "I love you"  and to show and express your love for them no matter what. The greatest thing I shared with you and showed you was to accept Jesus Christ into your heart and to praise him always and I thank God you did. I want to thank Almighty God for answering my prayers and calling you home to be with him where you belong in peace and no more pain and suffering and in misery. Now I know you were a shining light, a true angel who was watching over dad and mom and all your loved ones and I know you're reunited with Jesus Christ and Nana forever. Percilla, please forgive me for not being able to be there at the times you needed me most."

We grew up together at nanas house. We slept in the same bed. Wore the same pajamas. We were so close Nana used to take us baths together after coming home from the lake.  We even got the same Christmas gifts. Always opened our presents together.  I will never forget you. Ever. I love you and I'm sorry. I wish we had more time. Tell Nana I said hi.
