Demetrius, my condolences and prayers to you and your family.

My dearest friend, I could not find words to describe you. Your death hit me like lightening. I don't want to accept it. I don't want to believe you will depart without saying good bye. Even though you lived a fulfilled life. You did not live for yourself. You put others ahead of your need. You inspired me. You are the Guiding light the Almighty GOD brought into my life. I am writing this with TEARS only GOD can wipe away. The Vacuum you created is BIG. The joy that I took from this is that you left Children that will carry on the TOUCH. God was the reason that I am alive today, and you are the one GOD used to keep me alive. I will miss your good political humor. I will miss your love.The most important, your LOVE for all your children, grand children and great grand children. The LEGACY, the mentoring you gave to people like me who is not even BLOODLY related and to others will not be forgotten. You are good man.  I  love you Samuel. Sleep in the bossom of your creator. RIP.

My brother was so very special to me.  I considered him to always be strong and capable.  It never dawned on me to doubt him because I along with my sisters called on him to answer questions we had and he came through.  He was so special and will remain so for me in my heart. I will always cherish memories of him.

Demetrius, Arturo, Jomo:  How my heart aches for you at this time with the loss of your Dad.  It may seem that you're alone now but I want to remind you what the Word of God says in John 14:18 - "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you".  God is always there for you.
