A gift from God was sent to us on June 19, 2012. Although we only had a short time with you, that short time will last a lifetime within our hearts. You were a perfect little girl with only a broken heart. So tiny, so innocent, I can't help but wonder why you couldn't be a part of our world. I guess we will never know. But I believe that heaven must have been missing an angel as precious as you. Although we may never see the way you smile, the way you frown, the way you laugh, the way you cry, I can't help but wonder what you could have been someday if you had a chance at life. How blessed we are who put our faith in God, knowing how difficult it is to bear the pain of parting. We have his promise that one day we will be reunited with each other in heaven. A happier home, a better place, we will meet again. I only have one wish when it comes my time and that is you will be the first one I see, and sit down with me before we walk home, so I can tell you how much we loved you. Until that time someday, sometime, spread your wings and fly for you are as free as a bird, flying high watching over us. Only one thing I will need, my little girl, Daddy and Mommy would like for you, someday, to paint a rainbow in the sky to let us know you are okay. Savannah, may you be free.
