

Trinidad M. Santoyo, "Buzz" , 89 years old, passed away surrounded by his family, at his home in San Bernardino on February 28, 2011. Born January 28, 1922 in Las Huertas, Zacatecas, Mexico, he lived and worked most of his life in the Inland Empire. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Angela (Betty) Santoyo of San Bernardino; his children, Paul, Gloria, Diane, Michael and John; his 12 grandchildren and his 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved brothers, Raymond and Alfred. Trinidad worked at Norton Air Force Base for 35 years, and was a veteran of the Army Air Force, serving in World War II. Trinidad was an avid golfer and bowler, being a member of the Mexican-American Golf Association and the American Legion. Trinidad was a devout Catholic and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. He will forever be remembered as a loyal and loving husband to his wife, Betty, and as a kind and generous man by his family. A rosary was held at Montecito Laurelwood Chapel, March 7, 2011, at 6 p.m. Memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, 10 a.m., at Montecito Valley View Chapel followed by burial at Mt. View Cemetery, in San Bernardino, CA. Arrangements under the direction of Montecito Mortuary, Colton, California.
