Born and raised in Hagerstown, Maryland Pat was the eldest daughter of Virginia and Edgar Showe.

After graduating from Saint Maria Goretti High School, she began working for the Atomic Energy

Commission.

Pat married her high school sweetheart, Arley Sica Jr.. They shared 41 wonderful years of marriage

until his passing in 2005. Together, they raised their daughter, Angela (“Angel”), in Greenbelt,

Maryland where they built lifelong friendships and cherished memories within a close-knit

community.

Pat devoted 13 years to being a homemaker before beginning a career with the federal government

—a position she truly loved and held for 27 years. She took great pride in her work and the

relationships she built along the way.

She found joy in cooking and loved trying new recipes on her family. An avid reader from childhood,

Pat always had a deep love for books. Above all, she treasured time spent with family and friends,

which brought her the greatest happiness.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Angela (“Angel”) Wilton; her brother, Donald Showe; her

grandchildren, Taylor and Hannah Wilton; her great-grandson, Andres Wilton; as well as many

beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arley Sica Jr.; her parents, Virginia and Edgar Showe;

her grandmother, Ruth Keedy; her sisters, Carol Linton and Cheryl Bernheisel; her nephew, Derrick

Bernheisel; her son-in-law, John Wilton; and her sister-in-law, Anne Marie Showe.

While her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her

loved ones and now rests in the eternal peace of our Lord. Her legacy of faith, love, and devotion

will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at Witzke Funeral Homes Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Rd. Columbia, MD 21045
