To The Bargamian Family,

My name is S. Sharon Bitanga and I had the very good fortune of meeting Gary many years ago at Montgomery College...actually, I don't recall how we met, perhaps we had a class together. Today, on a whim, I looked Gary up on FaceBook, and somehow that took me to look in other places. The last time I spoke to Gary was about 16 years ago when I was in the US visiting from the Philippines where I'd been living. Gary and I had planned to meet up, only he had to get home so we said we would do that another time.
What I can remember about Gary is vast considering the number of years gone now. We were friends, though we spent a good deal of time together, and we had a date once too. 
What I remember this Spring evening is a tall handsome young man, a love of cars, a beautiful ready smile, an embrace of family, honesty, a direct yet gentle manor, generosity, and passion for life. Gary taught me so much about how to be a better person. I would have fallen in love with him, but I didn't think I'd ever really be right for him...he was so nice, so sincere, and so kind....and I was so much more free spirited and longing to see the world with wild abandon. Gary was and seemed older and more mature to me, so I looked up to him. What a great guy!
For anyone that got to share more of life with him, more of his life, well, what a blessing I wish that I had. 
I'm so very saddened that I didn't see Gary again, or meet his wife and children. 
So young...I am sure this is a time of considerable emotion, and I wish for peace and comfort for the Bargamian family and for friends Gary had. 
I know words are so small at such sad times. I can only pray that at the end of my life, that there is a place where I can go and know Gary is there too, as will be those he has left waiting for that day.

Jodi, I met you and Gary when I was living with Michael Bargamian in WDC. I remember how happy you were then with your young children.  Although I have not been in touch with Michael in quite some time, I was sad to learn from a mutual friend of Gary's long illness and death.  I am very sorry for your loss.  I will remember him when he was strong and happy.  Lisa

My deepest sympathy to Gary's family.  While our paths had not crossed in years, I will remember Gary as always smiling, laughing and enjoying life. An extraordinary and caring person who will be missed. My thoughts and prayers to the Bargamian family especially to his wife and children

Gary showed us the true meaning of love and caring. He discussed his illness with us and his concern because of the impact it would have on Jody and his children. Not a word of "poor me"; only love and concern for those he loved. He was a special man and will always be remembered as a hero.

To Jodi , Mike and Elizabeth,

Please take solace in knowing that your loss is shared by many, not equally but shared. He made me a better man, father and husband. I will never forget him.

Gary has been a special good,  old friend from begining of high school. Though we drifted apart following college at Univ. Of MD , always remained friends for many years and in touch.  I will always remember are fun time Hot Rods, parties, families etc.  I will see you in Heaven some day. Say hello to your mom and my mom for me ! Kevin

Your bravery is a lesson to all of us.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you all in this time of remembrance. Mr. Bargamian was a wonderful friend, and his smile could light up any room! From consulting on the purchase of my first car to joking around with neighbors, he was a fantastic role model to all that knew him, and will be greatly missed.

I first met Gary when he was one of the teenagers in our neighborhood. Then he sold me cars.  Then he helped me learn the art of selling cars.  Gary was a wonderful friend and mentor.  He will be greatly missed.

Please except my condolenceses to the family and friends. Losing a loved one in death is very difficult and painful. I always turn to the bible for comfort and turning to God in prayer will also give you comfort.

Gary and I grew up in the same neighborhood (Silver Spring, MD)and went to high school together. Gary was a great friend, a friend you could trust. I bought my 1st brand new Corvette from Gary. I will miss stopping by Sport Chevrolet and talking with Gary. Jim Henderson
