Gerald Quentin Greenfield Sr., age 105, of Columbia, MD. died on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Howard County Hospital. Born in Williamsport, TN, he was the son of the late Rev. William Russell Greenfield Sr. and Clara Mae Greenfield. Mr. Greenfield served in the US Army and retired after 31 years as a LT. Colonel.
In addition to his wife, Blanche E. Greenfield of Columbia, MD.; Mr. Greenfield is survived by two sons, Dr. Gerald Q. Greenfield Jr. of San Antonio , TX, and Damon T. Greenfield of Columbia MD.; two step daughters, Karen A. Dixon-Rice of Laurel, MD., Kimberley Dixon of Greensboro, N.C; two stepson, Walter A Robinson of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and Christopher Dixon of Columbia, MD. and 5 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a his wife, Dorothy T. Greenfield.
A visitation for Gerald will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mount Pisgah African Methodist Episcopal Church, 5901 Cedar Fern Ct, Columbia, MD 21044, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
