I grew up in Columbia with John. We lived in Phelps Luck; I was sad to hear about John passing away. I had not spoken with him for a long time. John was a good man; he had a quirky sense of humor and always operated with authenticity and was always well intentioned. I still think of him from time to time. I know he is in a good place now, making people laugh and challenging them to think critically.

John, you will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with         
      you and your family.
