My heart is broken.  I did not know that big John was even sick.  How lucky we were to know you guys and the great times in the Wingate neighborhood.  Before Bella was born, the ladies threw Denise a shower.  The coolest gift was a pair of shoes your mom gave her -- When I saw your mom and dad to thank them, your dad was very proud to tell me that he picked them out. That's who your dad was.  I think he was most proud when he explained the design on his business card was from coloring one of you had done that he liked so much he made it the company logo.  You are all in our prayers and I'll never sit on the beach in Bethany without thinking of your dad, since it was he and your mom that led us to the Enchanted Cottage.  To this day we carry on his tradition of doing a buried treasure hunt.  Your dad was a treasure to all who knew him.

Psalm 30:5  Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Our memories are full of John's funny stories, but also his love for all of you.  I remember one Christmas, John came over with Luke and they started in with the stories.  Kyle joined in and I was laughing so hard I was crying and plugging my ears...they just kept getting louder and louder!  We love you all.

Oh Johnny-  We all so loved to hang out with our Sartori cousins.  You were the one who always made us all laugh and smile.  We knew you were in a room because we always heard you before we saw you. My nephew was like a son to me.  We shared many stories together and his laughter and smiles will be missed.  John and I were the only two that Sam would raise heck with. I used to tell John this was the way he showed his love for us. John would say "Why you and me?".  John keep a spot open for me so we can start the cycle over again.

From what I knew of John as husband and father, I'm sure GOD looked at him and said " job well done my good and faithful servant"

My nephew was like a son. We shared many stories together and his laughter and smiles will be missed.  John and I were the only two that Uncle Sam raised hell with. I used to tell John this was the way he showed love for us.  John would say "why you and me all the time?". John keep a spot up there for me so we can start the cycle all over again.

John spread joy to so many.  He had a truly generous heart and will be deeply missed.

To the Sartori Family, know that I was saddened to hear of John's passing and I am thankful that he has amazing peace now in heaven with Sam and Angie.  May you find comfort in God, all the precious memories of laughter and love, and in knowing he is finally resting.  Many thanks to Mary for stopping.  I will call you.

I only met John a few times in my life but every time my sister mentioned his name, I smiled and remembered how he made me feel welcome and good about myself.  He really was a very special human being! I am glad I had the privilege of knowing him.

John was a blend of the best qualities of Angie and Sam.  Never saw  him when he was not laughing.  Our thoughts are with Kathy, Luke, Mindy & Joe.

I will never forget the wonderful Christmas dinners and singing of Christmas carols at Bill and Ann Dansie's. We sure were loud and we had a fantastic time.  
When my mother passed, I was in Tucson, Arizona.  I was told that John went by the hospital after work and visited with Mom many times.  John was the last to see Mother alive and I will always remember him fondly for that.  It is these memories that will stay with me forever.

My favorite memory of Mr. John is when he came with Luke, Kyle and all the boys to NYC and stayed at our tiny Manhattan apartment. Joe, Mindy, and Luke--you could not have had a better father; it was so clear that he loved you all and enjoyed spending time with you as children and as adults.  And Kathy, it was always evident how much you two were in love; you could see it on your faces when you were together. I know that love will get you (and all of us) through this difficult time. And my Uncle John's dandelion seeds will continue to grow and the filaments of his life will continue to spread new life, love, and hope to others.  All my love.

How truly blessed I was to have such an amazing God Father. He taught me to live life to the fullest. He loved with all his heart. His enthusasism was contagious.  He made us all laugh. He taught me to eat grapes off the vine and to dance in the rain.  Oh how he will be missed.  Aunt Kathy, Mindy , Luke and Joe we love you and send prayers your way.
