I was saddened beyond words to hear of Teresa's passing, and am so deeply sorry for her family and all of us that loved her so very much.  The world is somehow smaller without her. The flood of words that come to mind for Teresa are all inadequate for describing the warmth of her heart, the depth of her humor, or the keen insight and extraordinary intelligence that she applied to every situation (she was a member of Mensa, if you didn't know that!).  She had so many challenges throughout her life, but despite the pain and the hardships she always had a kind word, a gentle or mischievous laugh, and genuine heartfelt concern to share with others. Her attitude and her influence on others was always positive, even when she had to be tough (and oh, was she tough!). Teresa was one of the most influential mentors and friends I had over the years, and a model of the type of person we should all aspire to be, and she will remain so for me for the rest of my life.  

Dearest Teresa (a.k.a., "not THeresa, a ridiculous way to spell it!”), 
I am sorry I was not able to be at your services today.  I had to get my wife (a.k.a., "The Melissa") out of the hospital this morning along with juggling our son Connor, who I wish so very very much could have met you.  Thank you so much for being in my life - I can never repay you for the difference you made, and the type of person I turned out to be because of your guidance at a critical point in my life.  I will always love you, my friend.

Teresa Salva Bathgave was a very special person.  Theresa was a very insightful, bright woman who had many talents. Theresa volunteered at our center, National Family Resiliency Center, (formerly COSD)  and regardless of what she may have been challenged with, always had a smile, always had a sense of humor and contagious laugh.
We think that what Theresa would want each of us to remember is how much she loved her family and how she would do anything for them. We are deeply saddened by Theresa's passing as is our NFRC staff. We extend our deep sympathies to Theresa's family.

I am very sorry to hear about Teresa's passing.  She was a wonderful person to work with and always approached things with a positive attitude and a smile. Even though she is gone her memories will stay with you forever.

Teresa was truly a light in this world.  She had many difficulties to contend with, and she bore them with grace and good humor. Teresa had to live with a level of pain on a day to day basis that would have put anyone else out of commission.  Instead of becoming bitter or turning inward, she lived her life as fully as possible.  She always sought to learn the lessons that her life circumstances had to teach her.  And she took such great joy in her sons and daughters-in-law and grandchildren.  She was a remarkable person.  I am honored to have known her, and I am so saddened by her passing.  Heidi Most

I will miss you dearly Teresa. You alwys had a smile on your face no matter what was going on. I was so happy that you made it to my wedding even though you were having problems yourself. You were always such a wonderfully spirted person. You will always be loved

I've known Teresa for a long time. While working at Enterprise, we became friends forever. I remember when my mother was ill, Teresa visited her at Howard County Hospital without telling me until she returned home. She not only cared about and loved her own family, she cared about and loved a lot of families. We talked on the phone, I visited and of course we Facebooked. I am so blessed to have had Teresa in my life. I will miss my dear friend.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of your Mother. I'll always remember Teresa and feel lucky that I had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be missed. May your memories give you peace and comfort.
