I was so grateful to hear from my mom that the funeral service and Mass were a beautiful celebration of your mom's life, heartfelt and full of love.  My deepest sympathies are with you all as we continue to pray for you and Carmen.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Your Mom and YaYa was a very special lady.  "Lady" is a perfect description of Carmen.  I'll never forget the homemade food she made for your rehearsal dinner and how delicious it was.  I know she had extraordinary sewing talent as well.
