Maria Sigillito

From the day she was born, Maria Sigillito was a daughter and sister to four siblings, and she fiercely loved her family. She spent every holiday with family, sometimes flying across the country to see those she loved. When Maria became an aunt, that love for her family grew to include her nieces and nephew. She would share what she loved with her family and friends through knitted scarves, trips to Pearl Jam concerts, and thoughtful gifts from independent book stores. Let's remember this kind, warm, giving soul as a remarkable woman who loved with all of her heart and someone who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A visitation will be held at Witzke Funeral Homes Inc., located at 5555 Twin Knolls Road, Columbia, MD 21045, on December 18, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Interfaith Center, Columbia, MD 21044, on December 19, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

The committal service will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mount View Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104, on December 19, 2025, from 1:45 pm to 2:00 pm.
