Cecile and I are deeply sadden to hear of Ray's passing. What a kind, sincere and caring person he was. Ray's mannerism was always that way from the first day we met in our grade school years to our last meeting in the dentist chair. However, he did scold me for not flossing enough. We send our sincere condolences to Koi, Hayden and their families and to Mrs. Lee. Our prayers are with you and the family.

Our heartfelt condolences Koi and the Lee family for their loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dr. Raymond
has been our family dentist for well over the past 20 years.  The fact that our kids always called him "Uncle Raymond" 
and of course "Auntie Koi".
I remember at Jeremy's wedding they all ran up to him and said "Hi Uncle Raymond".  Only to his
surprise he didn't quite realize who they were until he saw me.  It was sweet, he said he didn't recognize
them because they're so tall and dressed up so nice.
I recall the last time I saw him at the office, he spent an unusually long time with me. We've always talked about 
family and friends, but this time he spoke a lot more. He spoke of where he came from, growing up, his grandparents, 
parents, kids, it was a nice vignette of  his life. He even brought out his wedding picture to show me his family, 
it was a very nice moment.
Although I didn't know him before becoming his patient, it seemed like our lives intertwined, with him
growing up in Baltimore and me in DC, and we were both going to school at UMAB around the same
time, and I was surprise of the number of people he knew on campus. He also told me he had gym class with my
brother in College Park, and what a terrific basketball game they played together, where everything
went right for the win.
He was such a kind and giving person, and our family will never forget him.

He provided dental care to all the members of my family, including my 87 year old  mom who only recently became a patient of his 4 years ago . ( She certainly had challenging dental issues which tried his patience and professional judgement.) Koi, I am very saddened to hear of Ray's passing and ...that I've not stayed more in touch over the years.  As we each grow up, we meet many people along the way that touch us and help us in building our character.    For me, Ray was one of those such individuals that I can say was not only my friend but a pal that I always looked up to. I still often think of the many times Ray, William ,Heamie, David and  I spent together playing, basketball, baseball, going to the Edmonson Drive-In,  fishing and just hanging out. Ray was a class mate of mine in dental school.  He was always a nice guy and was an excellent dentist.  I am saddened to learn of his passing.  The dental profession and the world lost a very good person.  Barry L. Cohan, D.D.S.

My heart is saddened by the loss of one of the most congenial people I know. Dr. Lee was an amazing instructor and an intellect but he still managed to always make me laugh and brightened my day. My sweet n good, cousin, Raymond, how I will sincerely miss you so much. I'm more at peace now, knowing you are at peace. With being a cancer nurse myself, I understand the transformation and heartache though, that Koi and the children will now have to begin. I can only pray for comfort and God's blessings and strength to overcome the sadness that now will come in the months ahead. Koi, I know, you have lost your best friend and husband, and there are no words that will ever express the anguish you must feel. To all his children, know God's peace and everlasting love surrounds you with your Father's love that has shown through all these years that it was clear and obvious, that there was so much closeness and love that poured out from him for all of you. He was one of the best men, I have ever known. The memories will sustain all of you now.

Dearest Koi and family, How I did love Ray. My "Uncle Ray". We did have some great times over the years and he had such a wonderful laugh
 and smile. He even put one of my favorite songs on his operatory stereo system.
My heart goes out to you all and will be keeping you in my prayers through all
