We tragically lost our dear beloved son, Ryan Andrew Reed, born October 16, 1985 in Columbia, Maryland, on June 14, 2020. Ryan was our only child and is survived by his parent’s, Cheryl & Curtis Reed, his son, Paxton Van Cleve Reed, age 10 years, and Paxton’s mother Amy Kuncl. Also survived by his grandmothers Gail Reed and Harriett Totten, girlfriend Candice Lee, and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins. Ryan graduated from Hammond High School, 2004 in Columbia, Maryland and was an electrician and former member of the IBEW Local 24 Union.
Ryan was an amazing kindred soul, a most gregarious and loving man. He had a deep spiritual sense and love of God and was a member of the Church of the Redeemer in Frederick Maryland. He enjoyed volunteering for parking management and was very active in their Celebrate Recovery ministry. Ryan loved the beach, lifting weights, dogs, ink and music. He had a wonderful sense of humor, was known to be kind, and took joy in making others laugh.
Ryan will be laid to rest with a graveside service, on Tuesday June 23rd, 11AM at the Loudon Park Cemetery at 3620 Wilkens Avenue in Baltimore, Md. Outdoor reception will follow. A “Celebration of Life” service will be scheduled at the Church of the Redeemer in Frederick Maryland, in July or August, once the church has reopened due to COVID-19.
