Susan Ann Stalnaker

Susan Ann Stalnaker born June 7, 1964 in Prince George's County, MD passed away peacefully on Monday June 28, 2021 from a 7 year battle with breast cancer in Essex, MD with her daughter Heather Johnson, son in law, Corey Johnson and son in law William Mitan Jr by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Stephen Stalnaker and parents Thomas J. Galifaro Jr and Ellen E. Galifaro. Susan is also survived by her 4 grandchildren. Kristopher, Emily and Delanie Mitan, Kayla Johnson, her sister Sandy Allen, 3 nephews Michael, Kevin and Steven and lots of extended family. Susan was a 29 year veteran of the United States Capitol Police. Susan was loved by so many. She loved spending time with her daughter, son in law and grandchildren. She loved going out to dinner and to the movies with her friends and always loved a good vacation. Susan had a heart of gold and would always go above and beyond for those she loved. She will be missed by many but her memory will never ever be forgotten. Her viewing will be Tuesday July 6, 2021 from 4-7 at Witzke Funeral Home located at 5555 Twin Knolls Road Columbia, MD 21045. Her funeral will be Wednesday July 7, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Witzke Funeral Home followed by her burial at Meadowridge Memorial Park located at 7250 Washington Blvd. Elkridge, MD 21075.
