

Born in Calhoun, LA, Wanda was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Keener) White.
After graduating from Calhoun high school, Wanda moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked as a bookkeeper. After her children were born, she became a stay-at-home mom and was a home daycare provider for over 20 years. She loved to bake for her family especially at holidays and gatherings. Being a mother was one of the most important parts of Wanda’s life, a role that gave her much pride and joy.
Wanda will be deeply missed by her husband, William; children, Michelle (Shai) and Chris (Linda); grandchildren Evan and Noah Berman; sisters Shirley Huey of Monroe, LA and Nina Collins (Jim) of Duncannon, PA and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ernest Jr., Virginia, Gene, Dorothy, James, Joe Ray and Sue.
Private interment will be held at a later date at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery.
