Antoinette L. (Toni) Martin, 83, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015, at Boone Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home; visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
A resident of Columbia, Missouri, for 20 years, Toni, as she was called by friends and co-workers, was a teller for many years at Commerce Bank in Columbia until her retirement in 2011.
Toni was born and raised in Oakfield, New York. In 1954, she married Sam Martin and they moved to various locations throughout the country, until they settled in Naperville, Illinois, for thirteen years and later moved to Louisiana. When her husband passed in 1990, she moved to Mexico, Missouri, and a few years later to Columbia, where she became an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Toni is survived by her four children: Waterston Allen Martin, Melanie Vessels, Susan Nuss, and Jon Martin; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, as well as four brothers and a sister.
