Bertha “Bert” Baker, age 82, of Sturgeon, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Boone Hospital. Visitation will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. A Graveside service will follow at Red Rock Cemetery, Harrisburg, Missouri. She was born on November 3, 1932 in Rocheport, MO, the daughter of the late Velma (Rollins) and Forrest Crosswhite. Survivors include her children, Gordon Baker, Brenda Kile, Robert Baker (Jeni); grandchildren, Angie Cockrum(Gary), Jason Kile and Ashley Kile; great grandchildren, Chelsea Cockrum, Tyler Cockrum, Shana Kile, Jodi Kile and Ava Kile; sisters, Ina Cook, Frances Sapp, Helen Knox, Dorothy Proctor, Patsy Vinson and Pete Crosswhite. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baker; and one brother, Harold Crosswhite. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
