Brenda Fenley, 72, of Columbia, MO passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at her home. Visitation will be on Friday, September 26 from 10-11am at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West Columbia, MO. Funeral Service will begin at 11am with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Columbia, she was born to Harold K. and Georgia Mae Elder Andrews and was a 1971 graduate of Hickman High School. She first worked for Parks Department Store in Downtown Columbia before going to work at the University of Missouri. She worked for over 40 years at the University, data processing for the enrollment and registration offices. On June 10, 1989, she married William David Fenley in Columbia. Brenda also enjoyed and was talented at crochet, knitting, and needlepoint. In her younger years, she played softball. She enjoyed watching the MIZZOU Tigers football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
She is survived by her husband, David Fenley of Columbia; a sister, Linda Andrews Salmon (Kenneth Taylor) of Columbia; brothers-in-law, Terry Fenley of Columbia and Bob (Liz) Fenley of Kirkwood; sister-in-law, Patty (Mark) Hunt of Columbia, many nieces and nephews and a loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law, Linda Ann Parker; and a brother-in-law, Curtis Lee Fenley.
