Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2025, from 11:00-12:00 at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Dorothy was born January 19, 1945 to Darline and Ralph Elmore. She was united in marriage to James B. Sapp and he survives.
Dorothy spent many years in banking and mortgage where she touched many lives.
She is survived by her husband, her sons Rick (Ellen) Sapp and Ron Sapp (Melody), daughters Tina (Mick) Howard, Tammy (Brent) Blackwell, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, sisters Alice Tate, Shirley (Ron) Johnson, special cousin, Layna (Sid) Carter and other cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Robert, brother-in-law Byron Tate, infant granddaughter, Morgan Sapp.
