Frances Marie Raper

Fran was born July 14, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA to William and Anna Schweiker Edens. On July 26, 1951, she married Carroll L. Raper of Haskell, AR. Their family would eventually move to Columbia, MO in 1966 where she and Carroll raised three children. Fran worked at Columbia College for 10 years, retiring in 1982. She and Carroll enjoyed motor homing and traveling together. They traveled every corner of the USA and visited Europe on several occasions. Frances was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal's Baseball fan, she enjoyed visiting Bush Stadium and watching the Cardinals on TV.

She is survived by her children, Greg Raper of Eureka, MO, Matt (Beth) Raper of Wichita, KS, and Tammy (Paul) Razewski of Spring City, PA; seven grandchildren, David (Jessica) Raper, Samantha (Shawn) Hartman, Josh Raper, Joey (Holly) Raper, Tony Raper, Nick Razewski, and Lauren Razewski; two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Kyle Raper; and siblings Sylvia Stevens and James Edens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll; daughter-in-law, Wendy; brother Billy; brother-in-law Jimmy; and sisters-in-law Melba and Frances.
