Frankie Lee Rhodes

Visitation will take place, 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Samuel Powell officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Frankie was born, November 20, 1935 in Ozark, Arkansas the daughter of William Ruben Yearta and Erva Mildred McCartney. On June 21, 1958, in Springfield, Missouri, Frankie was united in marriage to Robert E. Rhodes who survives.

Frankie worked as a receptionist in medical practices in Columbia. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening and going out to eat with her loving husband.

Frankie is survived by her brothers: Douglas M. Yearta of Jasper, MO, Rex A. (Denise) Yearta of Springfield, MO her nieces and nephews: Luana (Pete) Tapernoux of Phoenix, AZ, Angela Yearta of Cottonwood, AZ, Melanie Yearta of Kansas City, MO. Laura (Jeff) Lagomarsino of Idaho Falls, ID, April Hoffman of Springfield, MO, Amy Harlow of Union, MO, Lesley Yearta of Springfield, MO, Erin Yearta of Springfield, MO, Sydney Rhodes of Tulsa, OK, Greg Rhodes of Rogers, AR, Patricia (Michael) Sloupe of Edmond, OK, Craig (Laurie) Rhodes of Wichita, KS, Jerry (Cristi) Rhodes of Bartlesville, OK, Darryl Rhodes of California, MO, Michelle Kutscher of Moberly and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Vickie Lynn (1960), and one brother, William Ruben Yearta, Jr. (2013).

Memorials are suggested to the Coyote Hills or the Ronald McDonald House.
