Helen Rose Schneider 1927-2017 Helen Schneider, 89, of Columbia, MO passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Lenoir Woods, where she had resided for the past 20 years. Funeral Service will 11:00 am, Monday, March 13 at Lenoir Woods Community Center Chapel with visitation from 10:30-11am. Entombment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Helen was born April 23, 1927 to Frederick Herman Korth and Lena Mae Robinson Korth in Truxton, MO. On August 16, 1947 she married Eli Henry Schneider. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2013. Helen was a member of Christian Chapel Assembly of God in Columbia. Helen was also a member of the Community Bible Study program in Columbia. As a homemaker she enjoyed cooking, sewing and crafting. She enjoyed her flowers and bird watching as well as front porch visits with neighbors. Memorials may be made to Lenoir Woods Benevolent Care Fund.
