Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
Janet was born in Sikeston, MO in 1939 the daughter of Melvin and Doris (Bolden) Mydland who preceded her in death. She was married on November 22, 1987 to Thomas Baker in Dexter, MO who survives of the home. She graduated from University of Missouri with a degree in Nursing and was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. Janet retired from the State of Missouri Department of Health. She was also a current member of PEO, enjoyed reading, and was a life-master bridge player.
She is also survived by one son, David Henson of Springfield, MO; one daughter, Kathy (Terry) Parks of Houston, TX; one sister, Mary Jane Crotty of Covington, TN and two grandchildren, Terry and Hannah Parks.
