Leonard D. Sims, 65, of Moberly passed away, Sunday, September 18, 2016 at his home. Memorial service will be 5pm, Saturday, September 24, 2016 at New Beginnings Christian Center 905 Rodney Griffin Drive, Centralia, MO 65240 with Sandy Keitzman officiating.
Leonard was born, April 6, 1951 in Fayette, MO to Elbert and Peggy Sue Hatfield Sims. He worked most his life as a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors…
Leonard is survived by his wife, JoAnne Carey; daughters, Stacey (Robert) Furlong of Sturgeon, and Shannon (Travis) West of Moberly, siblings; Junior (Dona) Sims, Debbie (Ron) Nelson, Jenny (Paul) Gallipeau, Randy (Tammy) Sims, James (Dee Ann) Green, and Nancy Wells; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Nellie Sims. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Vicky Jo Sims; and a brother, Kelley Sims.
