Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 6-8pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lulu was born in Houstonia, MO on July 29, 1940 the daughter of Norman and Mary K. Gibson (Taylor) who preceded her in death and two brothers, T.H. Gibson and William Gibson. She was married on October 4, 1958 to Hubert D. Cook in Smithton, MO who preceded her in death on March 6, 2004. She was a member of Sunrise Optimist Club and enjoyed playing bridge, spending time with friends and family as well as traveling and her flower gardens.
She is survived by her son, Gregory A. Cook of Harrisburg, MO; her daughter, Shelli (Matthew) Martin of Columbia, MO; two sisters, Pauline Mosley of California and Marvalee Farris of Alabama; one brother, Marvin Gibson of Sedalia, MO; and three grandchildren, Jeremy Crenshaw, Kaleb Martin and Cassandra Martin.
