Patricia Ann Burr

Patricia Ann Burr, 82, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025. Born on August 26, 1943, in Calls Chapel, Arkansas, to GW Howell and Virginia Howell, Patricia lived a vibrant life filled with love, optimism, and dedication to her family and community.

A visitation will be held at Dignity Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, Missouri, on June 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with funeral services beginning directly after at 11:00 a.m.

In 1959, Patricia married her beloved husband, Ronnie C. Burr Sr., and together they built a life centered on family and shared passions.

After Ronnie’s passing, Patricia showed remarkable resilience, learning to drive at the age of 33 and returning to school to earn her GED. Her strength and determination inspired all who knew her. Patricia devoted much of her career to nurturing others, working in childcare, at Hallsville Public Schools, and at Aerial Bouquet in Piggott. A faithful member of the First General Baptist Church in Piggott, she found joy in her spiritual community. Patricia had a deep passion for traveling, nature, cooking, and spending time with her family and children. She was renowned for her delicious chocolate pie, homemade rolls, and creamy homemade ice cream, which brought comfort and joy to countless gatherings. Her optimistic spirit and thankful outlook on life left a lasting impression on everyone she met. An amazing mother, Patricia always made time to play with her children, often showcasing her strong arm while throwing a ball around. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support made her not only an extraordinary mother but also a cherished friend and valued member of her community.

Patricia is survived by her children, Larry Burr and Ronnie Burr Jr.; her grandchildren, Amanda Burr, William Burr, Caroline Burrows, Michaella Hodges, Brittney Loughary, Nathalie Burr, Dakota Burr, and Shane Burr; and her siblings, Jerry Howell, Eddie Howell, Alan Howell, and Janet Cowgar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie C. Burr Sr.; her sons, David Burr and Daniel Burr; her daughter, Melissa Loughary; her grandchildren, Michael Burr and Matthew Burr; her brother, Richard Alan Howell; and her parents, GW Howell and Virginia Howell Menser.

Patricia’s legacy of love, resilience, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
