PATRICIA LOU WILKINSON Patricia L. Wilkinson, 75, of Columbia passed away May 26, 2014 at Ashland Villa in Ashland, Missouri. Patricia was born November 26, 1938 in Mexico, Missouri to Bill Denny and Louila Neal. Patricia was married on July 11, 1959 to Tom Wilkinson. She met Tom on a blind date and they were engaged three months later. They were happily married for 43 years until Tom passed away. Patricia grew up in Mexico, Missouri and graduated from Christian College in 1958 with an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts. Also, she was a national award winning artist. Patricia’s true passions were her family, art, friends, traveling, animals, gambling, cooking, fishing, reading, NASCAR, and Missouri athletics. Survivors include two sons, Joe and Neal Wilkinson; a daughter, Heather Wilkinson. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Wilkinson; her mother, Louila Neal; her father, Raymond Neal; and her birth father, Bill Denny. The visitation is from 4:00 – 7:00pm on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
