Becky was born on Monday, June 6th, 1949 to Lambert and Imogene (Barnes) Meyers. She spent her adolescent years living in Sturgeon, MO where she graduated from Sturgeon High School in 1967.
Becky was undoubtedly a hard worker. The very next day, after graduation, she started work with the University of Missouri hospital. She started her position in the purchasing department. However, she quickly advanced to, Administrative Assistant for the Neurological Surgery Department. She excelled in this position for nearly 40 years. Becky made adoring life-long friendships with her coworkers over the years.
In 1970, she married her soulmate, Roy Dean Roberts. They had a love that was undeniable. In the years to come, they welcomed two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Erin. They lived their life with eternal lasting love.
Becky celebrated her career with retirement in the early 2000’s. Her retiring years were spent partaking in her favorite hobbies. Gardening, camping, fishing, and golfing were among the many outdoor activities she loved. Along with Becky’s love for the outdoors, she also had a passion for shopping, visiting the Amish community, and crocheting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Becky was also an active member of Sunnydale Seventh Day Adventist Church. While attending, she developed a great admiration for her pastor, Lou Alfalah. Becky was baptized June 12th, 2021.
Becky is survived by her two daughters, Rachel Frasier and Erin Squires of Moberly. Becky had an irreplaceable soul. Her radiant joy and selflessness was enough to fulfill anyone. I know I can speak for everyone and say it was a blessing to be a part of her life. Becky Jo will be missed dearly, but forever remembered and celebrated for the love and grace she brought to each one of us.
