

She was born February 1, 1933 in Marysville, KS to Henry and Eloise Osterhaus who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister Mary Floyd, her brother Alfred Osterhaus, nephew Bob Floyd, her husband Charles Bradbury (1990) and husband Bill Stevens (2006).
Ruth graduated from Marysville High School in 1950. She spent her entire working career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company/AT&T in the Kansas City area. She retired in 1988 after 38 years of service. She then relocated to Laurie, MO (Lake of the Ozarks). In Laurie she was active in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the Lady Elks Auxiliary 2705 and was a Telephone Pioneer.
She is survived by her nephew Allen (Margie) Floyd, Columbia, MO; niece Diane Kerner (Doug), Broomfield, CO; stepsons Ron Bradbury (Mary), Louisburg, KS; Bill Stevens and Bob Stevens (Kathy), Manhattan, KS; stepdaughters Teri Bradbury Price (Ron), Goshen, IN; Janet Bradbury Blankenship (Sid), Olathe, KS; and Pam Stevens Houp, St. Joseph, MO. Several great nieces and nephews and step grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10:00AM, January 6, 2026 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Columbia, MO, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00AM. Internment follow in Memorial Cemetery, Columbia, MO.
