Terry L. Morton, 61, of Hallsville, MO, passed away March 15, 2016 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be at 4:00pm Saturday, March 19. 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia, MO. Visitation will be from 2-4pm before the service.
Terry was born July 27, 1954 in East Prairie, MO to Raymond and Frances Morton, who preceded him in death.
Terry married his beautiful wife Brenda Sue McCutchen on July 14, 1973; together they had 3 children.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda, of the home; two children Beverly (Matt) Brammer and David Morton, both of Hallsville; grandchildren Alyssa and William Brammer, and Taylor Morton; siblings: James (Sandy) Morton of St. Louis, MO, Sherry (Ricky) Parker of East Prairie, MO, Pete (Hattie) Morton of East Prairie, MO, Carol (Eddie) Piffer of Wyatt, MO, Sue Jones of Herrin, Illinois. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his son Terry Lynn Morton Jr. and an infant sister.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the American Heart Association.
