Thomas “Rex” Stone, 72, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away July 4, 2014. Rex was born October 5, 1941, to Ruby Elizabeth Perkins Stone and Thomas Henry Stone of Columbia. Rex lived in Columbia and California. He attended Hickman High School where he was active in theater, choir and baseball and participated in many choirs throughout the years. Rex had a career in sales, and worked at the Phoenix House later in life. Rex was well known for his beautiful singing voice and sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include daughters, Landi Stone (Jonathan Wood), Los Angeles, Calif, Shannon Stone, Kansas City, Mo., and Jenness Stone, Louisville, Ky.; son, Matthew DeClue, Potosi, Mo.; sister, Shirley Bolli Youngs, New Port Richey, Fla.; and niece Terri Casey, Corbin, Ky.
