Wayne McCue Trotter

He was born on April 30, 1973, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Richard and Linda (McCue) Trotter. Wayne graduated from Auburn High School in Auburn, Nebraska, and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army for 12 years.

On March 27, 2006, Wayne was united in marriage to Christina (Martinez) Trotter in Norwood, North Carolina. Following his military service, he worked as a supervisor, traveling to nuclear plants across the country. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Nebraska Huskers.

Above all, Wayne cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

Wayne will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Christina; parents, his children, Kevin Chanloeun, Susan Yang (Josh Evers) , Shoua Langendoerfer (Zachariah), Ferdinand Buendia, Charles Buendia, Joseph Buendia, and Quyntan Darling; his brothers, Benjamein and Arthur Trotter; and his grandchildren, Isaac Perkins, Gregory Langendoerfer, Zariah Langendoerfer, Dylan Jones, Emmerie Evers, Gideon Evers, Audrey Slote, Alexis Slote, Gweneviere Buendia, Nora Buendia, Mitchell Buendia, Grace Buendia, Tyromie Orman, Aurora Parsons, Lola Buendia, Bjorn Buendia, and Ollie Buendia.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jerold and Dorothy McCue and his paternal grandparents, Welbon and Beverly Trotter.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 152, 123 E Broadway, Ashland, MO 65010 with full Military Honors.
