Bill was born October 9, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri, the only child of William, Sr. and Ida Klein Schuette. He was a 1954 graduate of Wellston High School in St. Louis. After graduating high school, he began his career in the office supply industry as a delivery driver for American Loose-Leaf Binder Company. He married Barbara Quinn, on June 8th, 1957, in Jefferson City, Missouri. In 1972, he moved to Columbia and continued his work in office supplies. In 1978, he became co-owner of Columbia Office Supply before becoming sole owner in 1987. After a long, successful career, Bill retired in 1998. He was a lifelong fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and enjoyed classic cars. He was a member of the Central MO Mustang Club.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara Schuette; children, Bill (Cathy) Schuette of Columbia, Anne Farrow of St. Peter’s, Missouri, and Susan (Scott) Bollinger of O’Fallon, Missouri; grandchildren, Andrew, Jeremy, & Zachary Schuette and Abigail (Brad) Baker, Steven (Trisha) Farrow, and Jackson & Mary Bollinger; great grandchildren, Daphne and Olivia Baker, and Isla Farrow. He was preceded in death by his parents.
