Willie Marie Branch, 84, passed away April 28, 2023, at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove, Missouri, where she had lived since June 2020. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. May 10, 2023, at Walnut Grove Cemetery, with Russ Bradshaw officiating.
Willie was born November 17, 1938, in Boonville, Missouri. Her parents, William John and Mary Louise Meredith Branch, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Louise Branch.
Willie graduated from Boonville High School in 1956. She was a lifelong member of the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Boonville. Willie worked many years as a cashier, spending most of them at Boonville IGA. She enjoyed sewing and made countless hot pads that can now be found in kitchens throughout Cooper County. Willie was also interested in the history of Boonville and the surrounding area.
