Blaine McRaney Stogner was born on December 16, 1989. He departed for his heavenly home on January 13, 2023 at the age of 34. Blaine was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle and friend. His bond and love for his family was indescribable.
Blaine’s work career began with his uncle, Brett Johnson, at Southern Fencing. He was a dedicated and loyal employee for the past 10 years. Blaine took great pride in the jobs they completed. He loved to point out their work and often showed pictures of their projects. He especially enjoyed this last year of work alongside his cousin, Chess.
If you ever met Blaine, you would never forget him. He was a shining light in this world. He was a kind soul that loved deeply. He was not shy about expressing this love. He gave the best hugs and hugged with his whole being. Many times it has been said, to know him was to love him and people did. Children and babies were drawn to Blaine and they loved the attention he gave them. Above all, his attention and devotion was given to his “adorable” Emma and his “little buddies” Major and Hudson.
Blaine had many interests and was enthusiastic about each of them. He loved the gaming world, especially playing his Nintendo. His love for Disney never faded and each trip was as exciting and magical as his first. Blaine enjoyed all kinds of music, but his love was classic rock just like his dad.
He enjoyed learning, especially things related to science. His love for cooking shows was not for the recipes, but to understand the science behind them. He was an avid reader and could often be seen with a book in his hand wherever he went. Blaine was an encyclopedia of trivial knowledge and loved to share with anyone that was willing to listen.
Blaine was genuine, his smile was big and bright, his voice was loud, his love was deep and his heart was pure.
Blaine was preceded in death by his father, Houston Kent Stogner; his grandparents; Rossie Stogner and Fannie Stogner, and Billy Ray Smith; and uncle, Joseph Stogner. His memory will be forever cherished by his mother, Cindy Stogner; his sister, Sarah Brown (Steven); grandmother, Frances Smith; nephew, Hudson Kent Brown; his aunts, Mary Jane Stogner Furge (Jerry), and Susan Johnson (Brett); and cousins, Zackery Johnson (Brittany), Katherine Todd (Tyler), Chess Johnson, Debera Reeves (Scott), Michael Stogner (Wendy), Emma Johnson, Major Johnson, Jake Reeves, and Mitch Reeves.
