Chasity Hernandez, 44, was born on January 14, 1982, in Bogalusa, LA, and passed away on April 27, 2026. A resident of Columbia, MS, Chasity will be remembered with deep respect for a life marked by steady devotion, tireless work, and a generous spirit that consistently placed the needs of others before her own.
Chasity’s love for home and family was evident in the ways she cared for those around her. She especially loved to cook, and she took particular joy in grilling out with family—bringing people together through simple moments made meaningful by her attention and effort. She also enjoyed leisurely rides through the countryside, and she faithfully supported her children in their social activities, offering encouragement and presence in the places that mattered most to them. In quieter hours, she enjoyed binge watching TV shows and movies, finding comfort in time spent unwinding and sharing everyday life.
Chasity was preceded in death by her son, Devin Magee, and her father, Ricky Magee.
She is survived by her husband, Saul Hernandez; her daughter, Kaiya Magee; her son, Kosta Hernandez; her mother, Jan Lee; her step-father, Terry Lee; her sister, Paige Magee; her brother, Jamie Magee; her godfather, Jackie Temple; her best friend, Tina Luna; and a host of extended family.
