David B. Saucier, Jr., of Sumrall, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born to Candis and David Saucier, Sr. and attended Pearl River Community College. David was a skilled small engine mechanic who could repair anything. He was a free spirit who never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. He enjoyed playing card games, dominoes, and trivia. David enjoyed the simple pleasures of caring for his farm animals and family gatherings. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents and David is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Saucier; a daughter, Linda Saucier Cook; three sons, David B. Saucier, III, Lloyd Saucier, Sr, and Odis Saucier; nine grandchildren, Candis Saucier, Debbie Bennett (Terry Yates, Jr), Krystal Miller (William), Domenique Bates, Elizabeth Saucier, Dakota Saucier, Lloyd Saucier, Jr, Damien Saucier, and Stacey Saucier; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The services for David will be private.
