Donnie Haney

Donnie Haney, age 62 of Silver Creek, MS passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Merit Heath Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. He worked as a forklift operator and was a member of Arm Baptist Church. Mr. Haney was preceded in death by his parents, Dave Haney and Marie Maples Haney. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carolyn Haney of Silver Creek, MS; daughters, Karen Baity (Adam) of Natchez, MS, Amanda Cothran, and Brandi Guice, both of Roxie, MS, Ashley Caldwell (Timothy) of Vidalia, LA, Pamela Nettles of Kentwood, LA, and Kimberly Keyes (James) of Natchez, MS; a son, Sammy Nettles (Tasha) of Kentwood, LA; sister, Carolyn Saucier of Natchez, MS; brothers, Mack Nations (Donna) of Silver Creek, MS, and Michael Nations (Lisa) of New Hebron, MS; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his canine companion, “Blue Boy”; and several nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home, 323 Second St. Columbia, MS where family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time. Reverend Tim Brady and Reverend Don McClellan will officiate at the service and burial will follow at Arm Baptist Church Cemetery in Arm, MS assisted by Sammy Nettles, Adam Baity, James Keyes, Kenny Gill, Bryant Gilbert, and Shawn Michael Nations as pallbearers.
