Hal “Ronnie” Cook, age 68 of Columbia, MS passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Ronnie worked 30 years in the oil field and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his son, Hal “Scooter” Cook; parents, Robert Luther Cook, Sr. and Clara Mae McCory Cook; and sisters, Bonita Lyn Cook Forbes, and Jacqueline Verlina Cook Freeman. He is survived by his daughter, Renee Delancey of Columbia; brother, Robert Luther Cook, II (Twila) of Foxworth, MS; six grandchildren, Kayla Rechelle Bolin Ashley Nicole Delancey, Jeremiah Ezekiel Price, Tiffany Ann McNabb, Logan Scott McNabb, and Elizabeth Ann Cook; two great-grandchildren, Kayson Lavon Bolin, and Grey Alexander Hawe; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 26, 2021 at Foxworth Cemetery.
