Jack was passionate about architecture and design, having received a BFA in Interior Architecture and Environmental Design from The Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles in 1987, and a Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University in 1993. In 2005 Jack formed Bockman Forbes Design with partner, Brian Bockman. A talented actor, he received a Master of Acting degree from The Actors Studio in New York in 2001.
Jack loved traveling, cooking, reading, and writing. His first original screenplay entitled “Finding Justus” is based on his early life in Southern Mississippi and time spent in New York City. A skilled painter, photographer, and gardener, Jack’s latest accomplishment was the creation of “King Bee Honey” from his orchard in Mississippi. He was also an avid art collector and fluent in several foreign languages.
His boisterous laugh, sense of humor, and charisma are undeniable and unforgettable. His sparkling eyes, magnificent chestnut hair, and mischievous smile brightened every room he entered. He was a champion for all of his dear friends – a kind, honorable, loving and loyal confidant.
