Josh Mahaffey, age 39 unexpectedly died Sunday, August 6, 2023 near his residence in Mount Olive, MS.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, John Mahaffey; and sisters, Michelle Catherine, and Jennifer Mahaffey. His memory will be forever cherished by his mother, Cathy Mahaffey of Mount Olive; daughter, Trinity Mahaffey of Borger, TX; brothers, John Derek Mahaffey, and Justin Mahaffey, both of Mount Olive; cousins, Joseph Leger (Crystal), Jamie Schliegelmeyer (Brett), and Malinda Schliegelmeyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Pine Burr Baptist Church where family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Pine Burr Cemetery.
