Olouse Tullos

Olouse Tullos, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 83. He was born on August 6, 1938 in Columbia, Mississippi. He settled in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1978 where he worked for the Louisiana School for the Deaf as a teacher and administrator for over 30 years.

Olouse was preceded in death by his parents, Ainsworth “Worth” and Sarah “Sadie” Tullos; brothers, Ronald Mac Tullos and Cassell “Cassie” Bass Tullos; and sisters, Jane Kloman and Rosa Amberson.

He is survived by his cherished wife of 59 years, Connie Tullos; son, Vincent Tullos (Susan); daughter, Tiffany Scott (Jim); six grandchildren, Christian, Brandon, Meagan, and Lilly Tullos and Jackson and Noah Scott; one great grandson, Asher Guidry; two sisters, Gayle Yager, and Sarah Hutto (John); three brothers, John (Julie), Rex (Maria) and Tim; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, September, 17, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel where friends may visit with the family from 1:00pm until service time. Burial will follow in Spring Cottage Cemetery.
