Pauline Stringer, age 78 of Foxworth, MS passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 in Hattiesburg, MS. She worked at Marion County Timber and Mat and retired after more than 40 years as an administrative assistant
.
Pauline loved her family very much and enjoyed gatherings where she felt the warmth and closeness of her family. Her presence will now be greatly missed.
Pauline was a member of Crossroads Church of God and a devoted Christian. She served her Lord and Savior faithfully throughout her lifetime and loved reading her bible every night before bedtime. As a dedicated prayer warrior of the faith, she has seen the hand of God move in miraculous ways. We now rejoice in knowing she is with Jesus in Heaven.
Mrs. Stringer was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Osburn Turner and Allie Lee Turner; brother Jerry Turner; and sisters, Lana Chenier, and Dianne Delanoix.
She is survived by her husband, H. A. Stringer of Foxworth; daughters, Minyawn Stringer of Foxworth, and Amy Stringer of Orlando, FL; a son, Andy Stringer (Brandy) of Foxworth; a sister, Maudie Allen (Jack) of Watson, LA; nine grandchildren, Drew Stringer (Mandy), Lanette Stringer, Lee Stringer (Stacey), Ty Stringer (Jacquelyn), Landon Corriveau, Scarlett Corriveau, and Nathaniel Carey (Beth); and three great-grandchildren, Owen Stringer, J.P. Stringer, and Elijah Carey.
A graveside service for Pauline will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 3:30 PM at Crossroads Church of God Cemetery in Foxworth, MS. Reverend Tommy Pittman and Brother Wayne Smith will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers are Ryan Stringer, Drew Stringer, Ty Stringer, Lee Stringer, Brandon Chenier and Heath Chenier.
