Wilma Beard

Wilma Beard, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at the age of 100. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County and a faithful member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Foxworth. Mrs. Beard loved her God and loved everyone who God put in her life and consequently was loved by everyone who met her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Beard; a daughter, Josie Bedwell; a son, Wendell Beard; two sisters and one brother. Mrs. Beard is survived by a son, Glen Beard; a sister, Louise Curlin; nine grandchildren, Zach Bedwell, Quinton Bedwell, Malissa Flowers, Barbara Saucier, Becky Cooper, Gabby Glen Beard, Priscilla Beard, Bobby Lee Beard and Jennifer Beard; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The visitation will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Foxworth on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
