Carol’s career spanned from retail to multiple customer service positions. Carol’s last job was as a cashier at Hamrick’s which she enjoyed. After retirement, Carol spent time creating homemade wreaths and other crafts, and spending time with family and friends. Anywhere you saw Carol, her husband Leon was there. They did everything together.
Carol is survived by her husband, Leon Padgett; daughters, April Iriel (Todd), Cindy Coleman, and Brenda Crawford (Kellie); stepchildren, Heather Atkins and Kevin Padgett (Rose); 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Judy Gill (Bill); brothers, Ronald Rogan, Robert Rogan, and Raymond Rogan; along with multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Thelma Rogan; brother, Jerry Rogan; sister, Donna Stoner; and son, Douglas Kashmer.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025 at Elmwood Cemetery in the Mausoleum, 501 Elmwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29201.
